"I'm top left next to Tony Flint the coach and Craig Smith (good old Biggers). We beat Newcastle / Gosforth in the quarters that day but lost in the semis that year. We did win the county cup the following year though. I think the whole team is now listed via the comments on facebook. We had a cracking team back then. When we made it up to colts in 95, we only missed out on the Scottish nationals due to a ref decision and the colts league by 1 point. Pikka and big TF were great coaches."
Neil now lives in Poynton, Cheshire, near Manchester, running the village pub where he has lived since 2000. He gets up to Berwick a couple of times a year and usuallly catch up with the likes of Rod King, Biggers, Cam Mitchell, Porky and other fellow former BRFC players in the Brown Bear.
